Navigating This Site
This electronic book contains twelve chapters of climate change mitigation information. Accompanying this content are tools and resources to
help you along the way.
To browse the Handbook, we recommend our HTML site. The site provides a non-linear approach and contains contextual links to internal
and external Web pages.
To print the Handbook or its chapters, we recommend our PDF files. The PDF files, available for download off the homepage, allow for
linear reading and faster printing.
The navigation information that follows refers only to the HTML version of the Handbook:
HANDBOOK COMPONENTS
Chapters
The Handbook is divided into twelve chapters. All chapters are accessible from any page on the site. On the homepage, chapter links are
located in the center white column. On all other pages, chapter links are located in the top, green, navigation bars.
Chapter Subsections
Each chapter is divided into several topical subsections. Each subsection is located on a single page and can be accessed from the relevant
chapter index page (explained above.)
Best Practices Summary Charts
These tables summarize information in matrix form for easy qualitative comparison of the impact of the different options. From each item in
the table you can link to the more detailed description in the relevant chapter. You can also jump to the legend to see the definition of the terms
used.
Tools and Resources
A variety of tools and resources are available for quick reference no matter where you are on the site. Refer to the left, green column on any
page for a consistent index of helpful references.

Non-Sequential Navigation
Feel free to jump to the page of your interest at any time using the navigation explained above.
Sequential Navigation
To navigate the handbook as a virtual book, or page-by-page, first click into "Chapter 1: Introduction" from the homepage. Once youšve read
the index page, click to the next page with the "Next Page" link located in the bottom, green, navigation bar. The "Next Page" link is
consistently at the bottom of each page (except for the ancillary tools and resources pages) and is accompanied by a "Previous Page" link that
allows you to review the content.
