GETTING THERE & AWAY
Airport
Dallas Fort Worth International Airport (code: DFW) is the closest airport to the venue with the most daily flights.
Airport Transfers
A taxi between DFW and the Omni Fort Worth will cost approximately $65 and take 30 - 45 minutes depending on traffic. Upon arrival into DFW, collect luggage from baggage claim and then proceed directly outside to the taxi stands.

SHALE GAS SITE VISIT
The site visit to an operational shale gas drilling site will take place on Tuesday, September 14. Cheseapeake Energy will begin by hosting a briefing in the Fort Worth Ballroom (Section 6 - 8) at 1:00 pm. Buses will then leave from the Omni Fort Worth Hotel between 1:30 and 1:45 pm. Safety equipment, including eye and ear protection, will be provided by the host. The buses will return to the Omni at approximately 5:00 pm. Casual attire is suggested, but open-toed shoes are not allowed.
Please note that there is a limit of 80 participants for the site visit due to safety regulations at the site. The OGIF organizers reserve the right to limit participation based on responses received through the "Registration" link above.
To attend the site visit, you must also complete the Property Tour Waiver in advance, which releases and indemnifies Chesapeake Energy from and against any injuries sustained during the site visit. Additional information is available here.
SEPTEMBER 14 RECEPTION & DINNER
Buses will depart from the Omni Hotel at 6:30 pm on Tuesday, September 14 to transport guests to Reata Restaurant, where a relaxed welcome reception and dinner will be held for all registered OGIF attendees on behalf of the U.S. energy companies sponsoring OGIF. Suggested dress is business casual.

The Fort Worth Convention & Visitors Bureau has a complete list of cultural activities in the area, including museums, sports, nightlife, and historic sites.
