Saline Storage Cost Modelling Workshop

The Saline Storage Cost modelling workshop aims to increase understanding between energy market modelers of i) the uncertainty of geologic storage properties in various basins in the US; ii) the state-of-the-art in approaches/models used to estimate storage costs; iii) the uncertainties in cost-predictions along with the factors driving the uncertainties; and iv) impacts from decisions on financial responsibility for Post-Injection Site Care (PISC) and long-term storage liability). The workshop will bring together a range of stakeholders including modelers, saline storage SMEs, project developers, storage industry representatives, regulators, and insurers to share knowledge about potential saline storage projects.
