U.S.-Jordan Electric Power Transmission Partnership Program Executive Exchange to Arizona Public Service

With support from the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) Jordan Mission, the U.S.-Jordan Electric Power Transmission Partnership has focused on improving the commercial viability of the National Electric Power Company of Jordan (NEPCO) by sharing best practices on utility management and technical operations employed by Arizona Public Service (APS).  For this upcoming exchange, a delegation of NEPCO executives will participate in week-long program at APS that focuses on optimizing the technical and managerial efficiency of electric utilities.  Delegates will attend a 3-day long course on process improvement through APS's Business Improvement University (BIU), during which they will learn to use problem solving tools for identifying and eliminating workflow bottlenecks and streamlining utility processes.  NEPCO delegates will also tour APS transmission and renewable energy facilities to gain exposure to U.S. utility operations.
