Biography: 

Erika Bolton is currently leading and designing work streams within USAID's AmpUp program and other programs for MK Advisors that advance clean energy, accelerate new clean technologies, and catalyze innovation within and coming from underinvested and marginalized populations. She has multi-industry experience which she draws from to cross-pollinate, inform and enrich pathways to deep impacts. Whether it is the arts, business incubation and sales, suicide prevention among African American and Black boys and men, education access for low-asset mothers, advocacy and healing facilitation for survivors of domestic violence as a certified domestic violence counselor, assessing non-profit projects for donors, and improving remedial student outcomes, her experiences and successes have all been woven with quality of life impacts.

In the past, Erika designed, implemented and led a data-driven service insights program across 5 counties in Metro-Detroit. She also led the program design for a veteran housing non-profit and was a strategic thought partner for media personalities. Her lifelong humanitarian work has led her through journeys in South Africa, Nepal, India, Thailand, Mexico and in the USA. In her spare time, she is a storyteller, creating immersive experiences, arts and entertainment. Erika has an unwavering commitment to be inclusive of the power of joy and love in all endeavors and to co-build prosperity that permanently eradicates poverty.
