John R. Hammond is the Program Manager of USEA’s Energy Partnership Program, which promotes private sector approaches to solving the energy challenges of developing countries in Asia, Latin America, and Africa. Under his leadership, USEA has established more than 45 utility and regulatory partnerships in Asia, Africa and Latin America. He has more than 30 years of experience in management, professional consulting and educational positions in areas of private and public development in the United States and overseas.
In his previous position as President of JRH International, John served as a consultant to private companies including USDOE, USAID, U.S.-Asian Environmental Partnership (US-AEP) and developing countries. He also served as an energy and environmental consultant to the USAID Office of Energy and Infrastructure where he established and administered the Private Sector Energy Development Program.
