Biography: 

Austin Holland is the Oklahoma State Seismologist and has been with the Oklahoma Geological Survey (OGS) since 2010.  His research has primarily focused on issues regarding triggered and induced seismicity.  He has given many invited talks at professional meetings nationally and internationally regarding concerns of induced seismicity.  His research at the OGS also includes earthquake hazards, characterization of the Earth’s crust, and earthquake process.  He got his Ph.D. in geosciences from the University of Arizona in Tucson, has a M.S. in Geophysics and a B.S. in Geology.  He began his career as a seismologist twenty years ago at the Idaho National Laboratory.
