Biography: 

Elise Voorhis serves as a Program Coordinator for USEA’s Energy Utility Partnership Program, which promotes best practices, regulatory reform, and private sector solutions to solving energy problems sustainably and efficiently in various developing countries. She is responsible for the planning and implementation of partnership activities in Africa, Asia, Europe, and the United States, including training programs, workshops, conferences, and executive exchanges on clean energy and sustainable development.

Elise holds a MA in Global Environmental Policy from American University’s School of International Service, and a BA in International Relations from the University of Texas at Austin. Prior to joining USEA in December 2016, she worked at the U.S. Department of State, U.S. Trade and Development Agency, White House Council on Environmental Quality, and Lloyd Gosselink Attorneys at Law.
