Biography: 

Jay Khosla joined Natural Resources Canada (NRCan) in 2009 and assumed his current role in July 2013, in which he leads the stewardship of NRCan’s energy sector in advancing Canada’s international and domestic energy policy agenda. In this position, Jay promotes the responsible development of Canada’s energy resources by collaborating with an array of partners and agencies. A central focus of his efforts is to maximize Canada’s energy advantage by fostering and implementing a sustainable pan-Canadian approach to the development, production and distribution of Canada’s energy mix. He holds a Master’s degree in Public Administration from Dalhousie University as well as a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from the University of Ottawa.
