Biography: 

Dr. Robert Sinclair is an energy economist with substantial experience as a market monitor, consultant, and expert witness. Dr. Sinclair is experienced in both U.S. and European electricity market issues, including open-access transmission, power supply procurement, market design, market power and competition, and general regulation and antitrust. He is also the author of numerous publications, presentations, and speeches on electricity market monitoring, market design, economic aspects of utility regulation, and market competition issues. His specialties include: Electricity Market Design, Electricity Market Monitoring, Power Supply Procurement Monitoring, Energy Regulation and rate making, Antitrust Analysis and Damages, Electricity Transmission Policy, Law and Economics, and European Electricity Markets.
