Ted Atwood

Biography: 

Mr. Atwood manages the Baltimore City’s Office of Sustainable Energy. In that position he raised substantial capital for energy efficiency and energy production projects for city operations such as Combined Heat and Power and solar generation projects. Under his leadership the City Government has reduced its energy costs by $15 million/yr. In addition, he established an energy efficiency loan program for non-profit organizations. The City now has an Energy Plan guiding its operations, planning and development. He has over thirty years of international experience developing clean energy technology projects for both the government and private sector. Mr. Atwood holds Masters Degrees in Chemical Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley, and in Business Administration from Johns Hopkins University, as well as a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Maryland.
