Carbon Sequestration Leadership Forum Americas Regional Dialogue

The Carbon Sequestration Leadership Forum (CSLF) is a Ministerial-level international climate change initiative that is focused on the development of improved cost-effective technologies for CCS. It also promotes awareness and champions legal, regulatory, financial, and institutional environments conducive to such technologies. The CSLF Secretariat plans to increase stakeholder outreach and engagement to align the CSLF message alongside other voices in the industry.

Recognizing that CCS development varies from region to region, the CSLF in 2017 is implementing regional stakeholder dialogues designed to accurately reflect the diverse needs in order to achieve CCS success in each geographic region. Participants should be expected to engage actively in the discussion as their contributions will be paramount to the future of CSLF. The United States Energy Association will host first CSLF Regional Americas dialogue and the discussion will take place Thursday May 25th from 1-5pm at the Washington Hilton, with a reception to immediately follow.

The dialogue and feedback received from this discussion, and the other regional meetings to be held this year, will provide the basis for a message to the CSLF ministers at the annual meeting this December. Take the survey now cslf.questionpro.com! For further information, please review the 2013 Stakeholder Messages to Ministers available here. Therefore, it is paramount that all attendees actively participate in the discussion as their input will assist the formulation of this message.

For those not able to attend in person, the event will also be available remotely:
