Test Program

 

The Eastern Europe Natural Gas Development Partnership (NGP) is established by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), the United States Energy Association (USEA), Ministries and Natural Gas Transmission System Operators (TSOs) of Eastern Europe to build sustainable institutional capacity to develop and utilize the region’s first common transmission planning models. It is expected that the models will be utilized to analyze on a regional basis, internal pipeline infrastructure, interconnections, and regional storage capacity necessary to accelerate the gasification process in Eastern Europe.

Objectives

The objectives of this initial meeting were to:

  • Formally launch the Eastern Europe Natural Gas Partnership (NGP)
  • Review the NGP’s goals and objectives and outline the roles and responsibilities of the member organizations
  • Conduct a roundtable discussion to familiarize members with current natural gas networks and system development plans
  • Adopt the NGP Workplan for 2017-2018
  • Execute the NGP Memorandum of Understanding
